I was happy to find in our snailmail box today the patches 46R and I
earned for hiking and finding 5 of the DEP letterboxes. We are
continuing to hike the DEP forests, but we need to hike many more to
get all 30. The letter included with the patches invited all to the
DEP Centennial Celebration to be held Oct 4th (Sat) in the Peoples
State Forest in Barkhamsted, Ct. Fun to start at 8:30am. We hope to
be able to go! Thanks DEP for the patches. Painterly and 46R.

I got my DEP patch in the snail mail also. I will wear it proudly,
as I work toward my walking stick.
